We’re hiring! Join us as a paid intern.

 

64 Million Artists believe everyone is creative – and that when we use our creativity, we can make change in our lives and the world around us. Every January we run the January Challenge – a 31 day programme where we send out a short creative challenge every day for people to Do, Think about and Share with others over social media or in real life. It might be making a self-portrait, showing your favourite dance moves, going on a mini-adventure or writing a poem about Mondays. 3,000 people took part in 2017 and we’re hoping to build on that for 2018.

 

We are looking for a paid intern to work with us for 3 months in December, January and February to help run the challenge online and recruit people to take part.

 

We don’t mind what level of education you have, or about your previous work experience. What we are looking for is someone really enthusiastic, who loves social media, and who is interested to talking to lots of different people and persuading them to join up. If you’re feeling under confident, don’t worry, you’ll have lots of support from our team and we’ll help train you in anything you need to complete the job.

 

You’ll spend a month getting ready for the launch, doing some online advertising and using various social media platforms to drum up support. Then for the month of January you’ll run the social media every day (don’t worry, we’ll make sure you get days off too!) – retweeting and commenting and sharing what people are doing. In February, you’ll be helping us collect all the data and make a lovely report showing what happened, and thinking about planning for next year.

 

You will be paid and you will work full time for 3 months. Your monthly salary will be equivalent to a salary of £18,000 if you were employed for the whole year (per annum), that means you’ll be paid for the time you work (pro rata).

 

We will provide a desk at in Impact Hub Islington, 27 Dingley Place, London, EC1V 8BR where you will work most of the time. We tend to work 9.30am – 5pm in the office. We can be flexible if different times work better for you and you may also be able to work from home, but both of these things must be planned and agreed in advance, not day by day. You won’t receive travel expenses to get you to the office but you will if we ask you to travel as part of your working day.
