The Generation Games, Day 1 – Introducing...

Welcome to Day 1 of The Generation Games! Today we embark on a 31 day journey. We hope in this time you’ll discover, create, share and have some fun together.

So with this in mind we thought there’s no better way to start our adventure than with an introduction. Let’s get to know our fellow challengers with today’s challenge….

Create a portrait of your Generation Games buddy or, if you’re playing on your own, your favourite younger/ older person. You can make the portrait by drawing, or using photography, or even just writing a paragraph or two about them.

Use whatever materials you like – it could be abstract or realistic, silly or serious. And remember… it doesn’t have to be perfect! Try and capture them and what you like about them. Have a go and try not spend more than 10-15 minutes on it.

If you have a bit more time…

Why not try creating portraits together of other people you know? You could draw them or make collages? Or go through old photos.

Think

How did it feel to do the first challenge? Was it fun? Did you feel nervous? How did you feel introducing the other person and not yourself? It may be interesting to include these answers in what you’re sharing.

Share

Share your portrait or short story with us. You can share on our website dothinkshare.com and/or on your social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Of course you can also just share with each other in real life too!
