The Generation Games, Day 10 – Family Arts Campaign – Mapping.

A brilliant challenge today set by guests Family Arts Campaign – a national programme led by the arts sector to increase levels of arts engagement by families.

Fantastic for Families is their new, year-round marketing campaign to families, which will include a central website with listings of intergenerational arts events. You can sign up to the mailing list now at fantasticforfamilies.com to be informed of the launch on October 1st 2017.

Inspired by this new tool, Family Arts Campaign would like you to…

Draw a map of your local neighbourhood and include your favourite places and venues where younger and older people can come together. They could be places you visit together or separately, regularly or places you’d like to visit in the future.

If you have a bit more time…

Could you visit one of these places? Pick a place or venue and have an afternoon out! You could also follow @fantasticforfam on Twitter for some ideas.

Think

Did you have many places on your map? Could you use your map to plan fun days out?
