Today is National Playday in the UK, a celebration of children’s right to play. We’d like to invite everyone to play for Day 2 challenge. Let today be your Playday…
Play together your favourite game from your childhood whether that childhood is happening now, or a long time ago! Is it a clapping game? Or cats cradle? Or Minecraft? Maybe it’s just sharing your favourite toys.. Play the game together, or if you’re playing alone or far away from your partner share the game online and let’s all learn together!
If you have a bit more time…
Why not try the childhood favourite – a treasure hunt. Design a treasure hunt for each other – both take turns making up the clues and hiding some treasure. What will you find?!
Did you find it easy or hard to think of games? Were your favourite games similar or really different? Did any interesting stories come out of the challenge?
Why not try making a little video of you playing the game – or some pictures – or even share the stories that you told. You can share on our website dothinkshare.com and/or on your social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Or just with each other in real life!
