This week we have been working in collaboration with the National Citizen Service (NCS) in Hull and East Riding, who are asking you to let the rhythm move your feet!
Try to create the longest and craziest conga that you can! Get as many members of the public, your workplace, your school or community group as possible to join you in your conga – are you up for the challenge?
If you have more time …
Can you experiment with the speed of your conga? Try one in super-slow motion, or speed it up and see how the movement changes. Perhaps alternate the leader of your conga to involve as many people as you can. This may help to get you in the mood to dance.
How did you feel while doing the conga? Who did you collaborate with? Can you ask a particular group of people to do this challenge with you?
Send us a video or a photo of your conga this week. If you don’t manage to record it, share the song that you danced to – we are always on the look out for new songs to get us dancing. Don’t forget to tag #64MillionArtists and #ChallengeHull and share with us:
If you haven’t already, join our Facebook group and connect with other challengers.
This year we are working in collaboration with Hull 2017, UK City of Culture to deliver transformative cultural activity and celebrate everyday creativity in 2017.
