How often do you allow yourself time to take advantage of some peace and quiet? Hull & East Riding Institute for the Blind (HERIB) are inviting you to do exactly that in this week’s challenge…
Meditate and Contemplate – take the time to notice your surroundings.
Sit quietly, reflect and take in your surroundings. Notice the sounds as well as the sights – enjoy just being in the moment.
If you have a bit more time…
Try to go somewhere new, take in your surroundings and notice how different your new found place feels and take time to appreciate the everyday.
What did you notice when you began to watch and listen to the world around you?
Share a video or a photo to express your experience of calmness using #64MillionArtists & #ChallengeHull. You can then tag Hull 2017 (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and HERIB (on Facebook and Twitter) to inspire others.
And share with us:
If you haven’t already, join our Facebook group and connect with other challengers.
This year we are working in collaboration with Hull 2017, UK City of Culture to deliver transformative cultural activity and celebrate everyday creativity in 2017.
