Saturday 24 June marks ‘Yellow Day’ and for this week’s Challenge Hull Preston Likely, a Hull-born artist, is encouraging you to make something yellow that you can carry, fashion or wear for the occasion.
Paint, sculpt, knit, cook, bake or buy something yellow to wear or carry on Yellow Day.
If you have more time …
Could you create a little something for the whole family, or some of your friends to wear? Encourage them to get involved in Yellow Day too!
Yellow is an uplifting, fun and happy colour – how does making or wearing something yellow make you feel?
Share photos of your yellow items, what you’ve made and you wearing or carrying them and tag #ChallengeHull and #YellowDayHull on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also share on YellowDayHull’s Facebook Group.
Don’t forget to tag #64MillionArtists and share your challenge on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
If you haven’t already, join our Facebook group and connect with other challengers.
This year we are working in collaboration with Hull 2017, UK City of Culture to deliver transformative cultural activity and celebrate everyday creativity in 2017.
