This week we received a wonderful challenge from the team at Hull KR Community Trust, an organisation who aim to inspire people through sport and physical activity. They would like you to dig out your dancing shoes and turn up the music for this week’s feel-good challenge:
Get together with friends, colleagues or family and get dancing! Do it during your lunch break, whilst you’re waiting for the kettle to boil or during the ad breaks of your favourite soap. Whatever the time of day, whoever you’re with, let loose and get grooving.
If you have more time …
Assign different dances to different days. Try Macarena Monday or Tango Tuesday, pair up, teach a dance and spread your new found skill! Remember the Cha Cha slide? Feel free to take inspiration from DJ Casper – let’s cha cha again.
How did it feel to spend your spare time dancing? Did you notice a change in your mood? Which dance was your favourite?
Within the next seven days send us a video of you dancing or a link to your favourite dance routine. Don’t forget to tag #64MillionArtists and #ChallengeHull and share with us:
If you haven’t already, join our Facebook group to connect with other challengers.
This year we are working in collaboration with Hull 2017, UK City of Culture to deliver transformative cultural activity and celebrate everyday creativity in 2017.
