Sam Drew-Jones
Head of Marketing
What’s your role at 64 Million Artists and what do you love most about it?
I am the Head of Marketing and my role is to find routes to people in the UK and beyond who want to tap into their authentic creativity and make a positive change. I love our team – they’re all so warm, friendly, and funny. My teammates have a way of making sure everyone feels included, no matter what we’re doing.
What is your favourite way to get creative?
I use songwriting as a form of therapy. I’ve sat at the keyboard to musically work out how I feel since I was seven years old. Music and singing can allow different emotions to open up and run free.
What is your super power?
They say that “curiosity killed the cat”, well, it’s a good job I’m not a cat! I’m always so curious about everything—people especially. Growing up with ADHD and dyslexia, I got used to asking, “But why though?” I believe being neurodiverse helps me to observe everything through a slightly different lens and use that curiosity to find ways to shake things up creatively!
