Creativity is... Wellbeing
It's Creativity and Wellbeing Week! This week, we invite you to use your creativity to explore what ‘well’ being means to you.
Creativity and Wellbeing week is an annual celebration of how creativity can benefit our health and wellbeing. It is run by London Arts and Health and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance. Now in its 12th year, it was actually started by our own Interim Executive Director Damian Hebron - and he has set this week’s creative prompt.

What does it mean to be well?
Think about what wellbeing means for you - it's probably more than just not being ill - maybe it is about feeling connected to others, having joy in the things you do. Whatever it is for you, think about the different colours, sensations, sounds that you associate with wellbeing.
Create something that represents wellbeing for you. It could be an abstract picture, a playlist of just the right songs, the perfect outfit. Your ‘creative prescription’ for wellbeing.
Think
How might you create a reminder of your ‘creative prescription for wellbeing’ that you can share with your future self?
Share
Share your creative response to wellbeing with someone you know and invite them to explore what wellbeing means to them. Are there any differences or similarities you share? Or keep it for yourself.
