Disability Rights UK is the UK’s leading Disabled People's Organisation (DPO) led by, run by, and working for Disabled people. We are the Lead partner on the Make It Together project which is connecting Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) with national and local arts and culture partners, to find ways to make everyday creativity more inclusive for Disabled communities.

How has your creativity inspired change in yourself or with those around you?
Communicating messages of social justice in creative ways is a fun and engaging way to inform, educate and engage audiences. Everyday creativity is good for mental health—especially vital for Disabled people facing significant barriers to inclusion. Creativity can strengthen communities by fostering connections, building identity, and promoting active citizenship.
