Please can you introduce yourself to the 64 Million Artists community!

When Long Covid shrank and slowed my world, creativity became my way of exploring, outwardly and inwardly. Finding ways to be creative within health limits requires its own adaptive creativity and I dabble in many forms. I love the curiosity that creativity meets and lights in me, bringing colour, joy and connection to my days. A couple of years ago, with the Covid Support Community, I began a free weekly Zoom where people with Long Covid can work quietly together on our own projects and share afterwards. We hope to explore offering other accessible spaces for creative connection and reflection.

Creativity Is…

exploring without leaving

How has your creativity inspired change in yourself or with those around you?

Creativity has taught me how to stop fighting with what is, and given me ways to start being with it instead. How to feel into and explore edges and limits. To accept that things will take their own time and that hurry energy will not move them faster. The joy of play and letting go of perfection. Creativity in all its forms gentles my internal dialogue, helping it to flow rather than looping stuck. It gives me a way to connect with others beyond chronic illness but also through it. Gives me hope that I can live this life.
