National Youth Arts Wales empowers thousands of young people from every county in Wales through exceptional arts education in music, dance, drama and other arts. Our ground-breaking national ensembles (including National Youth Orchestra, Choir, Brass Band, Theatre and Dance) and local projects focus on creativity, inclusion and excellence - and are pivotal in enhancing educational outcomes, mental health and community cohesion.

How has your creativity inspired change in yourself or with those around you?
We work with thousands of young people throughout Wales, every year. We have seen countless examples of how creativity brings people together, using the arts to understand how other people feel - and through this process, to reflect on their own feelings and perspectives. This is vitally important at this time, when teenagers report spiralling levels of mental health issues and loneliness, and when society seems to have forgotten how to disagree agreeably. Creativity is what connects humans to each other - transforming lives, communities and countries.
