Please can you introduce yourself to the 64 Million Artists community!
Hello all, I'm Samantha or Sam for short. I came from a very art based job that I sadly had to leave due to becoming disabled. I started using art as something to shut out the world when my disability got too much.
I now work voluntary running an art group and absolutely love it. I have also just found out I've been accepted into university to study art and design so can't wait for September to get here.
My real love is making costumes in my spare time. I attend the sweeps festival and other places in full costumes that I make from second hand clothing and materials.
I'm really looking forward to the lead up and the January challenge as I feel I can use it for the group and ideas. There's nothing like sitting amongst like minded people to bounce ideas off 😁

How has your creativity inspired change in yourself or with those around you?
My love of art never stopped when my old job had to finish, I just took a different path. The group I take makes me feel like I'm contributing to someone else's path of healing.
