Creativity Is… World of Steg

This April, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation presents a line up of creative prompts from resident artists of their studios that engage with the local community through their work.

This week it’s over to Hannah Colthorpe!

“I'm Hannah, I am a 23 year old artist from Nottingham. I'm in my last year of studying Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. My work is about building funny cartoon characters which represent myself and my friends and strangers I interact with! The characters interact with each other and run into issues along the way, which I represent through drawings, printmaking and performance. I like performing wearing masks and funny costumes and making people laugh!

The character which represents me is a dinosaur named Steg. It's fun to physically make characters so that you can play out stories with them.
