Rathi Kumar
Chief Operating Officer
What's your role at 64 Million Artists, and what do you love most about it?
My role is Chief Operating Officer, which means I help the organisation thrive in its work, ensuring our team feels supported and that we live our values.
I love helping everyone work at their best, which for me starts with streamlining processes so that task-based work is as efficient as possible. This then gives us the space to dream beyond! I also relish problem-solving and will always support the team in developing new and bold solutions to possible challenges.
What is your favourite way to get creative?
Singing is my passion, especially close harmony singing, and I have sung in choirs for over 25 years. The energy and release I get from using my voice in harmony with others to create music are unlike any other experience in my life. It can replenish my cup even when I think I have no energy to give.
What's your superpower?
My greatest superpower is my natural ability to prioritise. I pay close attention to detail but can also easily zoom out to see the big picture and the potential opportunities for my organisation to flourish. This means I really enjoy spending time on blue sky thinking but also feel energised when doing the detailed work to get there.
