Gloucester Community Building Collective, is a Community Interest Company that promotes community connections and supports community led action through creative collaboration. Based in Gloucester, we build local partnerships to address isolation, exclusion, mental health and social inequalities, by supporting and empowering people and inspire collective action.
We are passionate about unlocking opportunities for everyone to connect, express themselves, and help shape positive everlasting change in our neighbourhoods, so that every voice can be valued and heard.

How has your creativity inspired change in yourself or with those around you?
Creativity inspires us to support change by having new collaborations that bring different people together. By participating is community projects and events, in collaboration with other community partners, it has motivated GCBC to act innovatively, to help others to overcome challenges and to promote a culture of inclusion and empowerment.
For us, creative and cultural approaches transform everyday interactions into moments of connection, trusted relationships, and encourages local residents to find their purpose and confidence, enabling for real social impact through shared ideas and lived experiences.
