After 12 years, 2026 marks the last January Challenge from 64 Million Artists.

What started as a Facebook post with around 200 people joining in has grown into 360,000 people taking part in schools, workplaces, communities and families up and down the country, and beyond! We’ve made so many amazing partnerships with artists, community groups, and national campaigns and we are so proud of the legacy of everyday creativity we’ve left.

This year, we have created several free resources to help you host The January Challenge with your community, at home or at work. This includes a framework for gathering people together to take creative action towards change you want to see in the world! Explore the resources here. 

The world needs creativity now more than ever, and your creativity can and will change the world.We will miss you all next January but we hope you’ll keep up the tradition.

Ar ôl 12 mlynedd, 2026 fydd y flwyddyn olaf y bydd 64 Million Artists yn cynnal Her Ionawr.

Mae’r hyn ddechreuodd fel grŵp Facebook o tua 200 o bobl wedi tyfu’n 360,000 o bobl mewn ysgolion, gweithleoedd, cymunedau a theuluoedd ar draws Prydain, a thu hwnt! Rydym wedi creu cymaint o bartneriaethau gwych gydag artistiaid, grwpiau cymunedol, ac ymgyrchoedd cenedlaethol ac rydym mor falch o’r gwaddol o greadigrwydd bob dydd sydd wedi’i adael gennym. Bydd gennym hiraeth amdanoch fis Ionawr nesaf ond gobeithio y byddwch yn parhau â’r traddodiad.

Mae’r byd angen creadigrwydd yn awr yn fwy nag erioed, a gall eich creadigrwydd chi newid y byd, fe fydd yn newid y byd.
