In World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments, Aimee Nezhukumatathil writes,
“It is this way with wonder: it takes a bit of patience, and it takes putting yourself in the right place at the right time. It requires that we be curious enough to forgo our small distractions in order to find the world.”
Write about a moment of wonder. Describe this instance or observation in detail.
Think about (or seek out!) an experience of wonder. Describe that experience in a six-line acrostic poem, in which the first letter of each line spells out the word WONDER when read vertically.
