Age of Creativity Festival – May 2019

This page is a resource for staff of local Age UKs who would would like to run creative activities in group settings as part of the Age of Creativity Festival in May, 2019.

All 31 challenges have been devised by Age UK members in special workshops with Age UK Rotherham (Thorpe Hesley Friday Friend group); Age UK Gillingham (COGS group) and Age UK Banbury.

As well as a handy facilitators’ guide, with hints and tips for running a successful creative session, you’ll find 6 sets of PDFs of all the creative challenges people will complete every day throughout May. (Needless to say, you can do these creative challenges at any time!)

We’ve grouped the 31 challenges  in sets of 5 or 6 so that you can print out a set for an entire workshop if you like, or you can print out the challenges individually as A4 sheets. Click on the links below, download the PDFs and print them out. Easy! You can find a full list of all 31 challenges, and any simple materials they might require in the Facilitators’ Guide.

Members of the public can sign up to the daily challenges here. If you have consent from participants, and would like to share work on social media, you can use the hash-tags #AoCFestival and #64MillionArtists
