This week we hopped onto an escalator to start a j This week we hopped onto an escalator to start a journey to our wildest dreams....
Where do you imagine this sea scape escalator would lead you?
Scroll left for some creative inspiration ✨
Thank you Zara, 64 Million Artists Team Administrator for #TheWeeklyChallenge and Angela for sharing her staircase in the sea! 🌊
“What's your wildest dream, what would you reall “What's your wildest dream, what would you really love to do? This isn’t about what’s logical, what the mind wants…what does the heart want? ❤️
Now imagine doing it, being there...take your time and bathe in the feelings you think it'll bring - luxuriate!!" 🛁
---
Zara, 64 Million Artists Team Administrator is back with #TheWeeklyChallenge - here’s one to get our creative juices and dreams flowing ✨
---
“It's also 100% okay to be unsure about your dream, maybe instead you decide to take this 5-10 minutes as an opportunity to just rest - here, have a pillow and blankie, r-e-l-a-x.
Some of us might even realise we're on the wrong escalator...so here's a red button 🔴 for you to push incase you want to stop and find another escalator to ride on.
Your path only needs to make sense to you, be gentle with yourself cause maybe just maybe, comfort is a shortcut to success?”

A bit of fun with #TheWeeklyChallenge! Thank you A bit of fun with #TheWeeklyChallenge!
Thank you to our Team Administrator, Zara Veerapan-Padayachy for inviting us to explore how our interests crossover and where our imaginations can take us when we put the two together ✨
“Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the intention is to just have fun, and that doesn’t necessarily mean grinning so hard your face hurts (although that is an excellent experience!), it can just be about wanting to persevere with something because it’s enjoyable.
For some, it can be about discovering a way to link goats and chocolate, for others it might be more about day-to-day problem solving, such as “how can I get this huge blanket to fit in this tiny cupboard?”
Thanks to Annette, Patrick, Angela and Stephanie for sharing their creations with us!
Our March take-over continues…🌟 👤Through Our March take-over continues…🌟
👤Throughout this month, #TheWeeklyChallenge will come from the newest member of the 64 Million Artists team, our Team Administrator - Zara Veerapan-Padayachy. Here's to Week Two!
“Today, I have curated a fun thinking challenge for our wonderful community to try. I sincerely hope you enjoy it!”
—
“For some of you it might feel like you don’t have any at the moment (trust me, I’ve been there and done that many-a-time!). However, let’s see if I can inspire you via the following prompts.
📖 Do you have any cultural interests, are you into film, music, comics? If so, what type, which genres?
⚽️ How about sport, maybe you like going solo - do you like swimming? Or perhaps you prefer being part of a team and can be found playing rugby, football or cricket?
🔮 Are you interested in the esoteric: yoga, crystals, tarot?
🍓 What items do you eye up in the food aisle? Do you have a favourite animal? A favourite colour?
I’m all ears m’dears!
Whatever you do - please don’t feel limited by these options though! Perhaps your passions lie elsewhere and I promise you, they’re just as valid. It’s all welcome here so write it down, make a list – what do you like?”

So my suggestion here is to figure out what “fun” means to you, and then follow it, changing direction when the fun factor diminishes – remember: you’re in the driver’s seat, you’re in control here.”

Throughout March, #TheWeeklyChallenge will come fr Throughout March, #TheWeeklyChallenge will come from the newest member of the 64 Million Artists team, Zara Veerapan-Padayachy. Zara is the Team Administrator, and has put together 4 Weekly Challenges that invite you to explore the things that inspire her creativity…week one, let's GO! 💥
"Stretching for me is all about finding and respecting my boundaries. After each expansion, a contraction naturally occurs - the body is a really great teacher for this. Within these boundaries however, is the potential for growth and the choice is ours - we can choose to stay in our comfort zone (no judgment, it’s comfy), try something different (something shiny, something new!) or maybe we realise that actually, we’ve bitten off more than we can chew (it happens to all of us)!
Moment by moment, you have the power to decide how far you want to stretch yourself whether it’s in your personal life, professionally or creatively. Can you think of something that could do with a little shake up, a little stretch?"
Thanks Zara, we're so excited for what's to come throughout March! Welcome to the team! 🧡💥🧡

Thank you Leanne from Kirkham Library for inviting us to relax into repetition this week.
Leanne set a challenge to search your space for a shape you can use as a stamp. Check packaging, stationery, cutlery. Dip your item in whatever you can find that will leave a mark, and press it on paper. Then repeat!

This weeks Creative Challenge is HERE! 💥 'Hi! This weeks Creative Challenge is HERE! 💥
'Hi! I'm Leanne from Kirkham Library.
I love making patterns - I find it mixes creativity with the relaxation of repetition. I chose this challenge to encourage others to try the zen art of making patterns from the shapes around us…'
Repeat, Repeat, Repeat! Search your space for a shape you can use as a stamp. Check packaging, stationery, cutlery. Dip your item in whatever you can find that will leave a mark, and press it on paper. Then repeat!
What shape does it make? Will the shape fit together when repeated? Trying repeating it to make a large pattern.
Thank you Leanne! We can't wait to see what this week's challenge inspires...

✏️ #TheWeeklyChallenge with Malcom Buller ✏️
Malcolm is a retired Primary School teacher who turned to writing during the Lockdown period. He has produced two volumes of poetry and two novels. In 2022 he formed a poetry group in the local village library.
Malcolm took part in The January Challenge and turned most of the creative prompts into poems. “The freedom and encouragement to be creative and go where the flow suggests was excellent” Here’s a poem Malcom wrote about his experience with the daily challenges…
The variety made me think,
say "yes" to tasks, not "shan't",
share with new-made friends
and say "can do" not "can't"!
This week it’s time to give a bit of poetry a go ourselves!
